Brooke & Zach’s late summer engagement session at Lafayette Park is one of my favorites!  You probably see a lot of Lafayette Park on my blog, but it’s one of my favorite places to shoot.  The light there is always very lovely, even in the middle of the day.  And yes, it’s even pretty in the winter!

If you’re ever stumped for what to wear, take a cue from these two.  You can never go wrong with a great dress and nude heels.  Guys always look great in a button-down with a sweater.  Jeans can be easily dressed up or down!  You can easily swap the sweater out for a different color one, or take the sweater off and wear the button-down.

Brooke and Zach have such a playful, fun relationship, and they’re a blast to hang with!  I love when my couples can make each other laugh with just a look.

I can’t wait for their September wedding at Wine Country Gardens in Defiance, Missouri.  It’s a beautiful venue, and I’m excited to shoot there again!
