Photos that reflect how the day felt — not just how it looked.
Elopements aren’t about following a script or chasing what’s popular. They’re about choosing how you want to experience your wedding day — who’s there, where it happens, and what actually matters to you. Whether your plans are simple or layered, quiet or celebratory, your day gets to feel intentional and personal, without explanation.
My role is to document the experience you’re creating — not to shape it into something it’s not.
Most couples I work with want strong, meaningful images, but they don’t want their elopement to feel like a photoshoot. They want to be present, not managed.
I move through the day calmly and observantly, giving you space to stay grounded in what’s happening. When guidance is helpful, I’ll step in. When it’s not, I’ll step back. The goal is a day that flows naturally, where you’re focused on each other — not on the camera.
My work is rooted in documentary photography and photojournalism. I pay attention to the energy of the day, the people you’ve chosen, and the moments that happen in between the obvious ones.
Rather than directing every interaction, I document what’s actually unfolding — the movement, the emotion, the pauses, the connections. This allows your elopement gallery to feel honest and lived-in, reflecting the day as it was experienced, not just how it appeared.
Your photos will tell the full story of your elopement, not just the highlights. That includes the quiet moments, the unexpected laughter, the in-between connections, and the atmosphere of the place you chose.
From deserts and coastlines to cities and tucked-away locations, Southern California offers incredible variety — and your gallery should reflect not just the setting, but the experience of being there together.
Even a simple elopement has rhythm — arrival, transition, connection, movement, pauses. Coverage isn’t about filling time; it’s about giving the day enough space to breathe.
I’ll help you choose coverage based on how you want the day to feel, how many locations you’re considering, and how much of the experience you want documented. This ensures your elopement unfolds naturally, without rushing or compression.
For couples who want space for their day to unfold naturally — without rushing or overfilling the timeline. Coverage is continuous, with flexibility for split coverage when it genuinely supports the flow of your day.
Starting at $5000
Ideal for couples who want breathing room without committing to a full day — time for the ceremony, meaningful moments, and a relaxed pace. Coverage is designed to support flow and presence, not efficiency or over-structuring.
Starting at $3,400
Designed for couples keeping things simple and grounded in one place — a focused ceremony and time to be present without moving all over the desert. Coverage is limited to one location and up to 2.5 hours, keeping the experience intentional and unhurried.
Starting at $1,500
I regularly photograph elopements throughout Southern California, the Southwest, and the Midwest. Many of the weddings I document are destination celebrations where most — if not all — guests are traveling, even when the location itself isn’t “exotic.”
There are no travel fees anywhere in the continental United States. For Alaska, Hawaii, or international elopements, travel is quoted simply and transparently based on location and timeline.
Absolutely! While bringing guests along is doable, the truth is, the number of guests you choose to include can have a big impact on where you can elope and what activities you can take part in.
The best time to elope in Southern California depends on where you're eloping and the kind of experience you're looking for. For desert locations like Joshua Tree, fall through spring offer the most comfortable temperatures and stunning golden light. Beach elopements are lovely year-round, but late summer and early fall often bring fewer crowds and warm water. If you're considering a mountain setting, late spring through early fall provides beautiful weather and scenery. As your photographer, I’ll help you pick the perfect season and time of day for your dream elopement.
Eloping in Southern California is easy and flexible! First, you'll need a California marriage license, which you can get from any county clerk’s office in the state. You’ll also need an officiant and at least one witness for most elopements, though you can opt for a confidential marriage license if you meet certain requirements (like already living together). Once the legalities are squared away, the fun part begins—choosing your location and planning the day. Southern California offers an incredible range of landscapes and settings — deserts, coastlines, cities, and quiet corners that invite you to slow down and be present. Elopements here aren’t about spectacle or tradition for tradition’s sake. They’re about creating a day that reflects who you are and how you want to experience it. Whether you’re exchanging vows with just the two of you or gathering a small group of people you love, the focus stays on the experience itself — not a checklist.

Jaimie should be at the top of your list! Not only is she extremely talented but she is also very warm and personable. She's creative, responsive, and dependable. Jaimie knows exactly how to get people to feel comfortable in front of a camera. Rather than cueing forced-looking poses, she truly captures the true essence of her clients and how they interact with each other."

I love my wedding photos! Every reaction is genuine and real and makes me smile to just remember the moment. She perfectly captured my relationship with my husband. In regards to the actual posed photos, because everyone gets at least a few, she really knew how to get everyone's attention and efficiently get the families together, lined up, and smiling. It was very no nonsense which is exactly what you need when everyone's excited and distracted and in the way. I hate taking photos but this was just so easy and relaxed!"
