My work is rooted in real life — the in-between glances, heartfelt reactions, and quiet moments that actually feel like your story. I photograph people with attention to presence over pose, authenticity over polish.
You don't need perfect poses, perfect weather, perfect outfits, or a perfect location to capture the perfect memory. It’s about a snapshot in time - and delivering you a gallery full of photos you can feel.
Let's hang & make awesome photos and have an incredible adventure.
I photograph this way because real life doesn’t need to be staged to be meaningful. Whether I’m documenting a wedding day, a family at home, or a single afternoon together, my focus is the same: presence over performance, honesty over appearance.
I let things unfold naturally, stepping in only when it’s helpful and stepping back when something real is happening. The goal isn’t to manufacture a moment — it’s to notice it. To preserve what it felt like to be there, with the people you love, in that season of your life.
The result is a visual narrative that feels lived-in and true. Not a highlight reel. Not a version of your life cleaned up for the camera. Just your story, as it actually was.
I’m a photojournalist at heart, drawn to the quiet, unpolished moments that reveal how people actually connect. The in-between glances. The way someone reaches without thinking. The ordinary moments that carry more weight than the ones we plan for.

Jaimie should be at the top of your list! Not only is she extremely talented but she is also very warm and personable. She's creative, responsive, and dependable. Jaimie knows exactly how to get people to feel comfortable in front of a camera. Rather than cueing forced-looking poses, she truly captures the true essence of her clients and how they interact with each other."

I love my wedding photos! Every reaction is genuine and real and makes me smile to just remember the moment. She perfectly captured my relationship with my husband. In regards to the actual posed photos, because everyone gets at least a few, she really knew how to get everyone's attention and efficiently get the families together, lined up, and smiling. It was very no nonsense which is exactly what you need when everyone's excited and distracted and in the way. I hate taking photos but this was just so easy and relaxed!"

"Jaimie made us feel confident and comfortable in her presence, capturing candid photos of genuine interactions.”
I'm a St. Louis native who calls the Joshua Tree desert home. My daughter is the best thing that's ever happened to me. Hiking clears my brain and heart. I will never stop fighting for the rights of marginalized people. I believe that Love is Love and Black Lives Matter. Fuck the Patriarchy and Diet Culture.
Sometimes I explore and adventure every corner of the country; sometimes I push my cats around the neighborhood in a stroller while my preschooler (in a seasonally inappropriate costume with a full face of did-it-herself makeup) belts out our personal business like she’s starring in a Broadway musical about her day. It’s about balance.

06. I have a ton of food allergies; therefore, my portable snack of choice is usually olives. I love an olive bar. I will RSVP Yes to anything with an olive bar and a great red wine selection.
05. I love going to thrift stores because it's a treasure hunt. I've been thrifting with my mom & grandma since I was a baby, and it's still one of my fave things to do. I try to visit a thrift store in each place I visit.
04. I'm a reader. I always have like, 4-5 books going at a time. i don't watch tv, i read. that is how i have time for books... which are on my kindle app, on my phone. I've tried the kindle reader and I just don't like it.
03. i taught myself to crochet. it takes me forever to finish anything because my cats "help" so much. Each blanket also contains lots of cat fur finely woven into it because cats.
02. I'm a cat person, but hanging with new dogs makes me the happiest person ever. Whether it's at Home Depot or part of a wedding, my day: Fucking. Made.
01. As a kid, I always thought it would be cool to meet a President and take their picture. I accomplished that when I got to be Joe Biden's personal photographer on an STL stop on tour.
"Jaimie is absolutely wonderful to work with! We are so glad we chose her. We knew right away that she was right for us. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and I just LOVE the amazing candid shots she captures. Her photos capture real moments, and she still even fits in those classic posed photos to that the grandparents want. We were running so behind schedule at our wedding and Jaimie and her assistant handled it with pure ease and worked so well with us. You cannot go wrong with choosing Jaimie as your wedding photographer. Her images will capture the emotions and laughter so you can continue to relive it all and she is incredibly sweet and down to earth!"
