Paige + Tyler’s Larimore House wedding
Paige and Tyler wed at the historic Larimore House surrounded by friends and family.
The Ceremony
An outdoor ceremony by the gazebo would have been ideal, but it was too cold, so they had their ceremony in the chapel above the barn. They did a foot washing ceremony to symbolize taking care of each other. One of the benefits of The Larimore House is the indoor option for ceremonies in case of inclement weather.
The couple are devout Christians. Tyler’s wedding gift to Paige was a bible that he wrote notes in and highlighted passages that made him think of her, which he started doing this when they began dating.
Details
Paige opted for simple greenery to accent the dark grey bridesmaid gowns as a nod to the holiday season since the couple got married in December. The Larimore House was fully decked out for the holiday season with boughs of greenery on the double porches and wreathes on all the doors and windows.
Portraits
The grounds of the Larimore House are absolutely gorgeous, and perfect for wedding photos. Even in the winter, there are still beautiful places for photos. The benefit of having everything at one venue is that you can quickly go outside for photos and then pop back indoors to warm up. No one has to drive anywhere or walk very far to take photos.
This would also be a benefit in the summer as well! You can pop back indoors to the air conditioning to cool off.
The Reception
The reception decor was elegant and simple. After guests enjoyed their quiet dinner, they danced the night away on the upper dance floor of the barn at The Larimore House.
