Amanda & Matt had their hearts set on a snowy St Louis engagement session.  They had to wait quite a bit longer than they anticipated for a decent amount of snowfall, but it was definitely worth it!  Matt is currently living out of state, so as soon as the forecast predicted a good amount of snow, he headed up to St Louis from Kentucky.

It was freezing cold that particular morning, but Matt and Amanda handled it like pros!  They even shed their coats for a few photos :)

We started out at Ballpark Village and Busch Stadium for a few Cardinals jersey save the date shots, then we headed to midtown for the rest of our session.  There’s an old burned down church on Spring Ave that is a super popular spot for photos, and I thought it would be perfect for Amanda & Matt’s engagement session.  It gave us a little bit of cover from the wind, and the brick with the vines gave a little contrast to the starkness of the snow.

Our toes were frozen and numb by the end of it (15 degrees Fahrenheit will do that), but we got some amazing shots!

Thanks for braving the cold, you two!  I can’t wait for your October wedding!

Beautiful! This session *almost* made me miss the snow. St Lois is lucky to have such a talented engagement photographer!
