The original plan was to do their family session outdoors, in a park, but the weather didn’t want to cooperate. We moved their session to an in-studio family lifestyle session instead and it worked out perfectly!
My studio is always available for family or lifestyle sessions. It’s perfect for avoiding uncooperative weather (little ones especially don’t like to be too hot or too cold and don’t care for wind).
My studio is located in a historic building in the metro St. Louis area. There are enormous South-facing, black metal windows that let in tons of light! The brick walls are painted a crisp white. The original dark wood floors are absolutely charming.
There’s plenty of room to move and for little ones and families to run around. I frequently change my sets around to keep things fresh, interesting, and exciting. I love design, and I also collect vintage rugs that I’m often swapping in and out of the studio as well.
If you love the idea of a lifestyle session but your house doesn’t get the best light, or your kids can’t keep it clean for longer than 30 seconds (trust me, I get it!) then an in-studio family lifestyle session is the perfect option for you!
