Before we start planning, pinning locations on the map, and I pack my Jeep for adventure:

You'll fill out a contact form and tell me some things about the two of you, your love story, and your idea of a perfect wedding day.
After I review your form, I'll send you a pricing guide that's more tailored to your specific needs, as well as a link to my calendar to book your initial consultation call.
We'll hop on a FaceTime or Zoom call. At least one of my cats will show you his ass. You'll introduce me to your pets, and tell me about all the things you're dreaming of for your elopement day.
After our call, I'll send you a contract, then the fun begins! We'll work on bringing your wildest elopement day dreams to life! We'll meet up, go on an adventure, and have the time of your life.

Absolutely! While bringing guests along is doable, the truth is, the number of guests you choose to include can have a big impact on where you can elope and what activities you can take part in. There is a way to have the best of both worlds, though, which is why I include elopement planning for up to 25 guests.

can i have guests at my elopement?

The best time to elope in Joshua Tree is from October through mid-May. The weather is gorgeous during these months, and the park is fully open. June is not ideal due to the presence of rattlesnakes and partial park closures for raptor migration. July and August are extremely hot, but sunrise and sunset ceremonies are still feasible. Avoiding the peak snake activity periods will make your elopement safer and more enjoyable.

what's the best time of year to elope in joshua tree?

Yes, you need a Special Use Permit to get married in Joshua Tree National Park. Along with the permit, you will need to pay a $120 non-refundable application fee in order for your event to be considered. Applications take 15 business days (~3 weeks) to process and most applications will not be accepted if it's more than one year before your event date.
I assist each of my couples with navigating the permit process and selecting the perfect ceremony location, so you never feel overwhelmed or confused.

Do you need a permit to get married in joshua tree national park?

Joshua Tree National Park has designated areas for wedding ceremonies due to its popularity. (Check out my Joshua Tree Elopement Locations Guide for detailed information on ceremony locations.) While ceremony locations are limited, the options for portrait sessions are much more flexible. After booking, you'll receive my exclusive JTNP Location Guide, featuring photos, descriptions, and insights into each ceremony site.
