Autumn is bittersweet for me. I love the colors, and I’m always excited for cooler weather and the opportunity to photograph with gorgeous backgrounds, like with this autumn engagement session at Lafayette Park. But at the same time, it makes me sad that winter is close and everything will be cold and ugly for the next six months.
Brian and Colleen picked the perfect weekend for their engagement session! It was my last engagement session of 2013. The leaves were still gorgeous and it wasn’t too chilly yet.
I can’t even begin to explain to you how much fun this couple is! I’ve gotten to know Colleen fairly well, and she has wicked sense of humor. They’re pretty much the perfect compliments to each other :)
Brian’s son tagged along for the first part of their session, but the playground was definitely calling his name. He really is as sweet as he is cute!
