There’s no single right way to plan a wedding — especially when travel is involved. Many of the weddings I photograph are destination weddings in the truest sense: couples and guests traveling to gather somewhere meaningful, without the pressure of making it an event or a production. My role is to document that experience as it unfolds, with care and attention, so you can stay present and trust that the story is being held.
Working with me is meant to feel steady and unobtrusive. You won’t be asked to perform, repeat moments, or stay aware of the camera throughout the day.
I move through weddings quietly and attentively, keeping an eye on what’s unfolding while giving you space to be present with the people you care about. When something needs light guidance, I’ll offer it clearly and efficiently. When moments are happening naturally, I let them breathe.
The result is an experience that feels calm and grounded — where photography supports the day instead of shaping it.
Your gallery is built around the full story of the day, not just the highlights -- the emotions, transitions, interactions, and details that give the day context and make it uniquely yours.
These are often the moments that matter more over time — how people moved through the space, the conversations, and how it felt to be there. Together, they create a record that feels honest and complete rather than curated.
The goal isn’t to capture everything. It’s to capture what matters, in a way that reflects the day as it actually happened.

Don't see what you're looking for? I offer a range of add-ons, from additional coverage to film photography and albums. If your plans don’t fit neatly into a collection, we can talk through what makes sense — without overcomplicating things.
I regularly photograph weddings throughout California and the Midwest, and many of the weddings I document involve travel for both couples and guests. There are no travel fees for weddings within the continental United States — travel is built into my collections so plans stay simple and predictable.
If this feels right to you, the next step is simply to connect. A short call gives us space to talk through your plans, answer any remaining questions, and make sure this approach feels like the right fit.
There’s no pressure to decide on the call. It’s there to offer clarity — nothing more, nothing less.
Enough time to be present — not so much that it takes over your day.
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer, which is why I help couples plan this intentionally based on what they value most.

You’re not expected to know what to do.
Most people feel awkward when they’re being watched — which is exactly why I work the way I do. I’ll give gentle guidance when it’s helpful, but the goal isn’t to perform. It’s to let you settle into being yourselves.
Yes — and this is a big part of the process.
I work with couples ahead of time to create timelines that allow moments to happen naturally, instead of rushing from one thing to the next. This isn’t hands-off. It’s intentional, supportive, and planned with care.
That’s not a problem — it’s real life.
Some of the most meaningful moments happen when things unfold differently than expected. I work with what’s happening, not against it, and I’m always paying attention to what matters in the moment.
You’re supported the entire time.
There’s intention and structure, without micromanaging. I’ll help guide timing, setting, and flow so things feel easy — but I leave room for real moments to unfold naturally.
Yes.
We’ll get the photos that matter to you and your family — smiling, looking at the camera, frame-worthy — without making that the entire focus of the day.
Absolutely.
Those photos matter — especially to parents, grandparents, and future you. I’ll guide family and group photos efficiently and intentionally, making sure we get the combinations that matter without dragging it out or missing anyone. Quick, organized, and painless — then we move on.

My husband and I were nervous to be in front of the camera and Jaimie not only made every moment of photos fun, but she brought out beauty we didn't know existed.
"From day one, she connected with me because she was so laid back. She made this process so easy for us. Jaimie was no stranger; she jumped right in and even helped me with my wedding gown and gave good tips like she was a part of the family! She was so friendly with everyone, which I liked that about her. Once our photos were ready, we were so pleased! Awesome quality and clarity that I am just in awe of it all!"
Jaimie is awesome!
