Sarah and Michael
Know what’s better than chocolate? Almost nothing. Except, maybe, marrying the love of your life even after you accidentally punched his best friend (and Best Man) in the head on your first date while swing dancing.
Sarah and Michael knew they were The One for each other after only a few months. When Michael moved to china for the summer with his family after only dating for a short while, they were told it wasn’t going to work, but were determined not to give up. Needless to say, their determination won and conquered the temporary separation- on completely separate continents. By the time they were together in the same time zone again, both knew a lifelong commitment had been formed.
Their classic and casually vintage wedding was a stunner. Held at the ever-beautiful Graham Chapel at Washington University, sunlight poured through the arched windows and lit up the chapel as they said their “I Do’s”. I can’t write this without mentioning Sarah’s breathtaking veil and dress – that train was the thing of wedding dreams! The reception at Forest Park Golf Club included some laughs, some teary speeches, and some swing dancing- and thankfully, no one got punched in the head! These two plan to travel and make it to their 75th wedding anniversary, and we have non doubt that they will make it there together with a lifetime full of amazing memories.
