Courtney + Kyle often communicate without words. Just one look can say everything. They’re pros at cracking each other up with nothing more than a glance. They are truly, genuinely each others best friend. These two compliment each other in a way that is very rare.
Courtney and Kyle actually met in high school, when they shared a class together. They didn’t start dating until years later, when a mutual friend set them up. Their first date was in July 2009 at the demolition derby at the Madison County Fair. (Is it just me, or does that sound like a pretty rad first date?!?) Their second date was the following night. They went to a movie, then went back to Kyle’s house, where they sat on the tailgate of his truck in the driveway and talked all night.
For their Piper Palm House wedding, the two wrote their own vows to each other, which were eerily similar. Kyle vowed to learn where everything was in the kitchen so he wouldn’t have to ask Courtney and make her feel like a tour guide in their house. Courtney vowed to always help him find things in the kitchen. These two had everyone alternating between laughter and tears throughout the ceremony.
The laughter continued throughout the afternoon into the reception at the Sheldon Concert Hall. Both Courtney and Kyle stunned the crowd and did choreographed dances with their parents before hitting the dance floor with their friends and families.
