Usually, engagement sessions are done pretty far in advance of a wedding day.

But not always.

Since Elizabeth and Tim live out of town, it made it a tad tricky to schedule their engagement session when the weather wanted to cooperate.  We even got rained out earlier in the week of their wedding.  So we ended up rescheduling for the afternoon before their rehearsal dinner.

And I don’t think it could’ve worked out any better.

Since their rehearsal was in Clayton, we chose the always beautiful Oak Knoll Park for a quick engagement session to calm those pre-wedding photo jitters.  The afternoon light was absolutely perfect.  Tim and Elizabeth were glowing with excitement for their rehearsal and wedding, and they both looked stunning.

These two are completely at ease with each other, which makes them naturals in front of the camera.  Their smiles are genuine, and they know how to make each other laugh.
