Claire + Stephen love the Missouri Botanical Gardens. The gardens have banker’s hours, which means they’re closed during the pretty evening light. But they were cool with getting up incredibly early, and meeting me at 7am for the early walking hours for a spring MoBot engagement session. If the sun would’ve been out, we would’ve had some gorgeous early morning light. It ended up being overcast, but that’s ok! Everything was in bloom and looking pretty.

For me, engagement sessions are about taking an hour or so out of your day to spend some one-on-one time together, minus your phones or Netflix. Claire + Stephen claim they’re awkward (as everyone does!), but I couldn’t tell. I mean, being in front of a camera is awkward as hell anyway. My job is making my couples feel comfortable enough that they forget I’m there. And by the end of their session, which is the photos in front of the fountain, they literally did forget I was there.

If you’re interested in an early Saturday morning MoBot engagement session (or couples session, or even just you by yourself!), hit me up!
