Debbie and Alex
Late last fall, I met Debbie and Alex for their Blackburn Park Engagement Session. It was unseasonably warm that morning, which we appreciated! Although most of the leaves were already gone, there was just enough color left. We were fortunate to find several spots with bright color to offset the clouds that rolled in.
I love Blackburn Park engagement sessions! It’s a great little neighborhood park in Webster Groves that’s very walkable. There’s a little wooded area that gives off enchanted woods vibes. The pockets of evergreen trees mean there’s always green to be found. Blackburn Park is never crowded, especially during the week.
The best part about shooting in the late fall is the ability to shoot pretty much any time of day. Although we met in the morning for their Blackburn Park engagement session, the lighting would have looked great in the afternoon as well.
Meet Debbie and Alex
Debbie and Alex met at Truman State University, where they both ran on cross-country and track teams. Their first date was in November of 2013, when they went to see The Hunger Games movie together.
