Those closest to you will make or break your wedding day; not the weather, and not your luck. Meg + Alex have an incredible family and group of friends, and they MADE this wedding. They rolled with it and had a blast.
Years from now, when Meg, Alex, and their loved ones look back on this day, I hope they remember the smell of the rain, the mist in the air, the cold gusts of wind on their skin, and the all the love they felt they day.
Here we are, 12 hours from an ocean, in the landlocked Midwest. And yet somehow, the remnants of a hurricane became a serious issue. There's nothing in the world like the Midwest weather.
But you know what? A rainy day wedding has been on my bucket list for YEARS. It’s always been a dream of mine to shoot a wedding in the rain, with friends and family gathered around under colorful umbrellas.
And that's exactly what happened for Meg + Alex's rainy day wedding ceremony, and it was perfect.
